<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce accidents in automobile driving below a conventional level by relieving fatigue of a driver who drives an automobile even if only slightly. SOLUTION: When the driver operates a pulse generating switch 2 to generate a pulse for the purpose of parking or stopping, a self-holding circuit of a switch 3 is made in a connected state to energize control circuits of automatic intermittent switches 4 and 5 and actuate the switches 4 and 5, which in turn blink turn signals 6 and 7 to generate a signal indicative of parking or stopping (hazard warning signal). When running the automobile into traffic, the driver operates a lever switch to connect switches 8 and 9, for example, for right merging. The self-holding of the switch 3 is then canceled to break it, and the operation of the switches 4 and 5 and the blinking operation of the turn signals 6 and 7 are both stopped. The switch 5, however, is actuated again because the control circuit thereof is kept energized by the switches 8 and 9, to cause the turn signal 6 to blink and generate a direction indicating signal showing a right turn.</p> |
