PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire having a bead part with improved durability. SOLUTION: This pneumatic tire comprises a carcass 2 formed of a ply having carcass cords that are folded at a bead core 1a of the bead part 1 from a tread part through a side wall part, locked, and arranged in parallel, and an inner liner 3 that is arranged on the bore surface of the tire and made of rubber hardly permeating, air. The innermost end 3d in the tire radius direction of the inner liner 3 is positioned tire-radially inside the innermost end 2d in the tire radius direction where the carcass 2 passes in the radial inner part of a bead core. Thickness Tb of the inner liner 3 in a tire radial region A between the innermost end 2d of the carcass 2 and the outermost end 1u in the tire radius direction of the bead core 1a is 0.15 times or more and 4.0 times or less of the cross section radius D of the carcass cords.
