<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic material treating apparatus which is capable of substantially reducing the amount of a treating gas being exhausted from a treating tank and deodorized and effectively utilizing a portion of the treating gas in aerobic biodegradation treatment in a treating tank, and further thereby a deodorizing vessel can be miniaturized and heat load can be reduced. SOLUTION: In the organic material treating apparatus, in which an exhaust gas from the treating tank 1 for decomposing organic materials is made to pass through a condenser so as to condense and remove water content in the exhaust gas, introduced into the deodorizing vessel 3 including an oxidation catalyst to deodorize and discharged to the outside, at least a portion of the exhaust gas subjected to deodorizing treatment and present at the outlet side of the deodorizing vessel 3 is circulated/supplied to a flow passage 7 at the inlet side of the treating tank 1 or directly circulated/supplied to the treating tank 1. Further, the amount, to be circulated/supplied to the treating tank 1, of the exhaust gas subjected to deodorizing treatment and the exhaust gas subjected to water content removing treatment can be adjusted according to detection results of temperature in the treating tank 1 by sensors 16 and 17 or/and concentrations of CO2 or/and O2 in the treating tank.</p> |
