PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arrange a plurality of delivering and catering carts closely in a truck and a depository in a hospital. SOLUTION: A pair of fixed plates 12 are fixed opposed to each other on the top face 2 of a delivering and catering cart storing trays on which a variety of dishes are placed, and one end of each pair of movable plates 11 is supported on each of the fixed plates 12 turnably in a vertical direction. A gripping bar 10 is mounted between the other ends of the movable plates 11 so that when the movable plates 11 are turned downward, the gripping bar 10 is projected toward the side of the delivering and catering cart. When the delivering and catering cart is carried loaded on a truck or deposited for a while, the gripping bar 10 and the movable plates 11 are raised to prevent the handle of the cart from projecting laterally.
