PURPOSE: A system for offering/hunting a job and a method for operating the same are provided to form an information market between a company which wishes to obtain a high-quality human power and a high-quality job hunter who wishes to obtain a job by supplying selected high-quality job offering information for a job hunter. CONSTITUTION: A client(100) stores a web browser for making a job hunter connect to a computer communication network including the Internet and to use web data. An operator server(400) supplies information of a headhunter company registered as a member in accordance with an information requesting signal of the client(100). A headhunter company server(200) receives a predetermined submitting document by the client(100) connected to the operator server(400) and selects a candidate wanted by client company out of the job hunters. A client company server(300) receives information of the candidate from the headhunter company server(200). The operator server(400) includes a headhunter company database(450) for storing information of the headhunter company. The headhunter company server(200) includes a client company database(220) for storing engagement information supplied from the client company and a job hunter database(240) for storing job hunter information obtained from the submitted document prepared in accordance with the engagement information.
