PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathtub cover for bathing half the body, which prevents vapor inside the bathtub from dispersing outside, enhances the heat-retaining property, stimulates perspiration, and serves for efficient bathing half the body, and in addition, can be expected for sauna effect, by utilizing a home bathtub in use and a bathtub cover on the market. SOLUTION: The bathtub cover for bathing half the body is composed of a forearm holding- out board 2 and a head placing board 3. The forearm holding-out board 2 is made of a rectangular rigid lightweight synthetic resin board, one longer edge of which is formed with an engagingly catching section 2a of approximately L-shaped in a cross section and with an arc-shaped depth of cut portion 2b in the middle of the edge, and which is shaped with approximately ellipse-shaped penetrating holes 4, 4' on right and left oblique inside positions from the depth of cut portion. The head placing board 3 is made of a rectangular rigid lightweight synthetic board of the same thickness and color as the forearm holding-out board, is formed in one longer edge with an engagingly suspending section of approximately reverse L-shape in cross section that is brought into surface contact with the engagingly catching section of the forearm holding-out board, and is shaped with a long semicircular depth of cut portion at the inside position corresponding to the arc-shaped depth of cut portion of the forearm holding-out board, and a headrest 8 is mounted on a circumferential periphery of the depth of cut portion through attachment holders.
