GENE ENCODING aip-1/FLASH PROMOTER AND ITS USE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance or to control transcription of aip-1/FLASH so as to change apoptosis susceptibility of a cell considered to be an effective treatment target of apoptosis-related disease. SOLUTION: A gene fragment containing a promoter of gene aip-1/FLASH encoding Caspase-8 binding protein is found in the human genome library to determine a gene sequence encoding a promoter region of aip-1/FLASH and a gene sequence encoding 5' terminal untranslated region of aip-1/FLASH and an intron region at the downstream of the 5' terminal untranslated region.
