PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoch-making wrench having a remarkably high commercial value. SOLUTION: In this wrench for turning a bolt 1 with a square hole 1a, a cross sectional shape of a fitting part 3 of the bar-like wrench body 2 to be fitted into the square hole 1a of the bolt 1 is formed into the shape to be brought in contact with the inside of the square hole 1a of the bolt 1 and the outer peripheral surface of the fitting part 3 of the wrench 2 is formed into a surface for generating the frictional force against the inner peripheral surface 1a' of the square hole of the bolt 1. This frictional force works to turn the bolt 1 with the square hole 1a.
