PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which utilizes a water-jet cutting machine, is free from problems of incomplete cutting and wear or the like, saves power consumption, and has no possibility of a fire. SOLUTION: The cutting device faces the water-jet cutting machine having injection nozzlesαandβarranged in vertical and horizontal directions in cutting a block of waste plastic to a piece. The device is structured so as to satisfy following conditions; the injection nozzlesαin the vertical direction (a) are arranged so as to maintain a predetermined interval Ta each other with respect to a longitudinal direction of the block of the waste plastic, (b) repeat periodical movement at the interval Ta as an amplitude, and (c) the periodical movement has at least one junction which the adjacent nozzles and a locus overlap with a maximum width of the amplitude, and the injection nozzlesβin the horizontal direction (a) are arranged in a multistage shape while maintaining a predetermined interval Tb each other with respect to the horizontal direction.
