PURPOSE: To provide a pencil type cosmetic, the color of which can be distinguished from outside without putting the same color on a cylindrical shaft or a tail cap and which does not need a secondary processing such as cutting to prevent the movement of the cosmetic when the cylindrical shaft is formed. CONSTITUTION: The transparent cylindrical shaft 2 which can be cut is formed using a compound material of olefin polymer with polypropylene as a base material. Softened cosmetic M is filled in a shaft hole 22 of the cylindrical shaft 2 and is then hardened to be used by cutting the leading end of the cylindrical shaft 2. The transparent cylindrical shaft 2 is provided with a means 5, which is formed by an injection molding method, to prevent the filled cosmetic M from moving in the shaft hole 22.
