PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to authenticate validity of a received data in enciphered data communication using a self-decoding enciphering file. SOLUTION: A transmitter side generates electronic data authentication information 13 from an electronic data 10, and makes the information to be stored in a database 14. The transmitter side combines an enciphering file 17 obtained by using a password and enciphering the electronic data 10 with a receiver side decoding program 100 to generate a self-decoding enciphering file 21, and transmits it. A receiver side requests a password entry by a password input request program 18, and decodes the electronic data from the enciphering file 17 in the self-decoding enciphering file 21 by decoding program 19 using the password inputted. The receiver side generates electronic data authentication information 13A from the decoded electronic data by an electronic data authentication information generating program 20, and requests collation with the electronic data authentication information 13 stored in the database 14.
