PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To favorably provide an electron beam device, an image forming device and a method of producing the electron beam device. SOLUTION: A spacer 1020 is inserted into a gap in an auxiliary member 201 and the positioning and vertical alignment of the spacer are carried out. In this state, the spacer is made movable up and down and from side to side along the gap of the auxiliary member. A face plate 1017 where the spacer 1020 rises, or a rear plate 1015 and the face plate 1017 opposed to the rear plate 1015, and side walls 1016 in addition are used for assembling a vacuum container, to which the atmospheric pressure is applied only by evacuating the vacuum container. The spacer 1020 is held between the face plate 1017 and the rear plate 1015 and fixed thereto.
