METHOD FOR FABRICATING RIM OF SPECTACLES USING PHOTO-LUMINESCENT PIGMENT

PURPOSE: A method for fabricating a rim of spectacles using a photo-luminescent pigment is provided to emit light in a dark place by implanting it into a groove formed in a rim of spectacles. CONSTITUTION: A groove(30) of a desired shape is formed in a predetermined position of a rim(20) of spectacles. A photo-luminescent pigment(40) and a resin implanted into the groove(30) of the rim(20) of spectacles are prepared. The photo-luminescent pigment(40) including the resin is implanted into the groove(30) of the rim(20) of spectacles and the photo-luminescent pigment(40) including the resin is projected to an upper portion of the groove(30). A polishing process for the projected portion of the photo-luminescent pigment(40) including the resin is performed. An organic pigment or a dye is added selectively to the photo-luminescent pigment(40) including the resin.
