PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information distribution system enabling only a specific user to receive required information at required time. SOLUTION: The information distribution system has a distributor 11 for an information distribution agent 10, a distributor 21 for receiving information from the distributor 11 through a communication line 60 and distributing the information to respective users 30, 40, 50 and a database 23 for storing the information received from the distributor 11 by the distributor 21. Each of the users 30, 40, 50 can extracts a desired information from the database 23 at desired time and can need it. Since the communication line 60 for transmitting information is laid differently from a communication line 70 for mutually communicating between each user and the information distribution agent and/or a local distribution station, a non-bidirectional communication line also can be applied and this invention can be applied while using an existing line such as a non-bidirectional CATV network as it is. |
