PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal interruption circuit and a signal selection circuit that use SPST(Single Pole Single Throw) switches 1 or SPDT(Single Pole Double Throw) switches 2 and avoid the effect of leakage of signals so as to surely interrupt and select the signals. SOLUTION: The signal interruption circuit having a comparator 3 that discriminates whether or not outputs of the SPST switches 1 or the SPDT switches 2 passing/interrupting input signals exceed a prescribed value, is characterized in that the signal interruption circuit is provided with an auxiliary switch 6 that connects a signal input terminal of the comparator to ground via a resistor R when the SPST switches 1 or the SPDT switches 2 are opened.
