PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earth leakage breaker which allows easy distinction of a leakage condition from normal condition and whose test button can easily be accommodated in the breaker body. SOLUTION: An electromagnetic releasing device 9 is installed nearer the front within a breaker body 1 in such an arrangement that a leak display member 100 faces a window 40 formed on the front face of the breaker body 1 and a movable contact plate 97 is installed at the front face of the body 1 so that it is easy to push in. Because the leakage displaying member 100 is located opposite the test button 42 in such a way as interposing a coil frame 91, the member 100 does not obstruct the test button 42, and it 42 can easily be accommodated in the body 1. Also because the member 100 moving between the leak display position and non-leak display position is arranged facing the window 40, the normal condition and leaking condition can be distinguished from each other easily owing to the member 100 visible through the window 40.
