DRAM CAM CELL PROVIDED WITH HIDDEN-REFRESH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamic associative storage device (DCAM) cell topology. SOLUTION: This dynamic associative storage device (DCAM) cell topology can perform hidden-refresh of stored data in which delay or interference of a CAM(content-addressable memory) search/cycle is not caused. Thereby, the device provides performance such as SCAM. Nondestructive readout operation in which stored data are not required to rewrite is performed for the sake of refresh-readout operation. Reliable CAM search can be performed after readout operation and before rewriting refresh-data or during rewriting. A soft error detecting process can be performed for each CAM item during undecided refresh-cycle. This DCAM cell can be used for a digital system such as a digital computer, a network router, or the like.
