COMPOSITION CLEARANCE QUANTITY SETTING DEVICE, COMPOSITION CLEARANCE QUANTITY SETTING PROGRAM AND RECORDING MEDIUM RECORDING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate and quicken setting of clearance quantity as intervals of characters to be used in composition. SOLUTION: When the clearance quantity of composition to be used for a DTP system is set, a fundamental setting mode and a detailed setting mode can be selected. When the detailed setting mode is selected, the clearance quantity can be individually set for the respective setting items. On the other hand, when the fundamental setting mode is selected, the setting is performed by using a clearance quantity related table formed by linking similar clearance quantity setting items and thus, the same value is set for automatically linked setting items for the linked setting items by a single setting. The clearance quantity of the composition is quickened, simplified and flexibility of the setting is enhanced.
