PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flashing device for stroboscopic device that prevents any minute cracks of the flash discharge tube glass bulb by flashing. SOLUTION: Flash discharge tube 4 is held by holding materials 7, 7 that have flexibility and are attached in the holes of reflection umbrella not to put flash discharge tube 4 too close to reflection umbrella 1. Trigger electrode 7 is connected electrically to contacting material 3 attached to the reflection umbrella near the place where main electrode 6 is sealed, and the trigger voltage is input to the trigger electrode through contacting material 3 connected electrically to a trigger circuit. Since the trigger voltage is not input to the flash discharge tube locating close to the reflection umbrella, it is possible to avoid any fear to cause minute cracks by flashing.
