<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handy scanner which satisfactorily reproduces and displays read data, independently of the direction of the scanner or a document at scanning operation start. SOLUTION: The scanner is provided with a correction means 27, which corrects read data from an image scanner means 23, on the basis of information on the extent and the direction of movement which is obtained by a two-dimensional position displacement detection means 20. Thus it becomes unnecessary to set the direction at scanner operation start, and read data are reproduced without inclining.</p> |
