PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a totally-enclosed main motor for vehicle capable of suppressing increasing in temperature of an axis of a rotor and capable of attaining downsizing, saving in weight and increasing in rating. SOLUTION: In the motor comprising an inner fan 7 inserted into an axis 3 of a rotor and a cooler 10A to cool cooling air supplied to a ventilating pipe 11A through a vent 8C of an outer pipe frame 6a from the fan 7 by a cooling fin 12A of the outer circumference of the ventilating pipe 11A is fixed on the outer circumference of a pipe part of the frame 6a and a flexible joint 24A is provided on the one end of the axis 3, cooling fins 24a are provided in projecting from the outer circumference of the joint 24A.
