PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient monitoring camera system. SOLUTION: The monitoring camera system has a monitoring camera for monitoring a subject, a television(TV) monitor on which a broadcasting program can be viewed and a control means for displaying image data picked up by the monitoring camera on the TV monitor at the time of detecting a subject in a prescribed condition by the monitoring camera, imparting countermeasure for evading danger and displaying the countermeasure on the TV monitor.
