PURPOSE: A torque sensor is provided to improve an output of a sensor by using detection rings comprising a plurality of non-magnetic cylinder and a plurality of magnetic material chip. CONSTITUTION: A torque sensor comprises an upper portion axis(21), a lower portion axis (22), a plurality of detection ring, a reluctance coil(26), and a temperature compensation detection coil(25). The upper portion axis and the lower portion axis are connected by a torsion bar(23). The detection rings are disposed at end portions of the upper portion axis and the lower portion axis. The reluctance coil and the temperature compensation detection coil are arranged to an outer circumference round of the detection rings. The detection rings comprises a plurality of non-magnetic cylinder(31a-31d) and a plurality of magnetic material chip(32).
