PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for a cell with excellent electrolyte preservation property and self-discharge restraining property. SOLUTION: The separator for the cell is a porous material made of polyolefin fiber or polyamide fiber to which a natural mineral, or metal oxide, which are stable in alkali electrolyte solvent, or an acidic solid which is the particle of above material to which, acid is made to adhere, are made to stick. Of the above material, the acidity is 4.8 or less, and the content of the acidic particles is 5-70 g/m2. |
