<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical remote controller(ORC) allowed to be sufficiently miniaturized and enabling a user to easily execute the moving operation of a pointer (cursor). SOLUTION: A light detection part/determination button 2 and a menu button 3 are formed on the front part of an outer case 1 for the ORC and a hold button 4 is formed on the upper face part different from the front part. When a user holds the ORC with his hand, the buttons 2, 3 can be depressed with his thumb 8a and the button 4 can be depressed with his forefinger 8b. When the ORC is connected to a terminal such as a personal computer, a pointer on the display picture of the terminal can be moved by touching the button 2 with the thumb 8 and drag can be executed on the display picture by touching and moving the button 2 in the depressed state of the button 4.</p> |
