PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arm support prefabricated method for attaching switch in overhead power distribution cable line and an arm adaptor to be used on a cage lift truck. SOLUTION: A switch 22 and a one-touch pole band 23 are fixed in advance on an arm 21 to be secured on a pole 20. The free end of this pole arm 21 is inserted in and retained on the top of an arm adaptor 26 attached on the sub-boom of a cage lift truck, and this sub-boom 25 is elevated to the predetermined position. As the one-touch pole band 23 fixed to the other end of the pole arm 21 reaches the predetermined position of the pole 20, it is fastened to the pole 20 using an indirect live wire tool 28. Then, the free end of the pole arm 21 is pulled out to remove from the arm adaptor 26.
