PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish the technology of disk manufacturing by which a rigid disk is prevented from closely adhering to a disk, the disk and the rigid disk can easily be separated, and the surface of the disk is not damaged. SOLUTION: Innumerable undulations F are generated by roughening the surface of a rigid disk G which comes in contact with a disk 1, and a passage of air is formed between the rigid disk G and the disk 1. Air flows into the passage from the peripheral end surface of the rigid disk G, when the disk 1 is separated from the rigid disk G, and vacuum suction action is hardly generated between the two. Therefore, the rigid disk G is prevented from closely adhering to the disk 1, and the damage to the disk 1 surface is avoided.
