PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect abnormality of a load detecting system which detects a load applied to a vehicle seat. SOLUTION: The system is constituted such that a plurality of load sensors 13 provided on a seat frame 1 of the vehicle seat detect the load as a positive value, when the load acts on the vehicle seat; and when the load detected by at least one load sensor 13 among plurality of the load sensors 13 shows a negative value at the time, when the vehicle seat is empty, a control unit 15 that receives a detection signal of the load sensor 13 as an input and processing it discriminates the load detecting system to be abnormal.
