PURPOSE: A device for interfacing the user input of a hand holdable form is provided to conveniently and fast input the information, such as a character, a number and a special symbol. CONSTITUTION: A character code storing part(400) stores a code of a consonant and a vowel in the character. A keypad(200) includes keys as much as the number of the consonant and the vowel forming the character to be inputted after classifying the keys into the preset key groups. The keys are arranged in a state that the consonants and the vowels are respectively classified and arranged in a constant input order by each key group. A controller(800) controls the access of the character code storing part(400) in order to process the input of the consonant and the vowel when the key input is occurred.
