<p>A surge-current avoiding device and its avoiding circuit are disclosed, which can protect an apparatus from surge current by controlling the surge current flowing in the reverse direction by restricting the direction of conduction of the device installed to avoid surge current to one direction, and by preventing the surge current from flowing into the apparatus side even if the surge current exceeds the limit of the conduction, namely, by preventing the current from flowing through a circuit inside the apparatus even if the surge current enters through any path. The avoiding device (1) comprises a surge-current responding part (11) and a semiconductor part (12). When surge current generates, the surge-current responding part (11) responds at high speed to form a large receiver on the avoiding device (1) side. The semiconductor part (12) intercepts the surge current flowing in the reverse direction. The surge-current responding part (11) is disposed on the side connected to the apparatus, while the semiconductor part (12) is disposed on the earth line (13) side.</p> |
