SYSTEM FOR DYNAMIC EVALUATION OF THE STATE OF HEALTH AND CHARGE OF A VEHICLE BATTERY

The invention relates to a system for dynamic evaluation of the state of health and charge of a vehicle battery. The system is installed in the vehicle and measures the electrochemical impedance of the battery by the following: means (5) for generating an alternating sinusoidal current applied to the terminals of the battery; means for measuring a voltage drop as a result of the passage of said current; means (2) for filtering and conditioning said voltage drop and means (3, 10) for obtaining the real and imaginary components of said electrochemical impedance. The system has a one-pole architecture in which the injected signal is a one-frequency alternating component coming from an oscillator, which is superimposed on a continuos reference component. The real and imaginary components are measured continuously. A voltage proportional to the injected current is always obtained.
