<p>A radio apparatus (1000) communicates with a base station selected from a plurality of base stations. An RF receiving circuit (14) and a modulating circuit (16) receive radio waves from the base station and extract a corresponding digital signal. An RF transmitting circuit (24) amplifies a signal, which is to be transmitted to the base station, to a level according to the control by a control apparatus (20). When detecting, based on FER information corresponding to a measuring result and an error detection result of a reception level measuring circuit (102), a degradation of the reception status with respect to the base station with which the radio apparatus (1000) is currently communicating, the control apparatus (20) increases the transmission power of a transmitting section in accordance with the levels of radio wave receptions from other base stations around the base station with which the radio apparatus (1000) is currently communicating.</p> |
