PURPOSE: A system, a method and a manufacturing article for managing a personal catalog and knowledge are provided to enable a user to efficiently manage a large quantity of personal information by facilitating collection, classification and annotation of digital information. CONSTITUTION: A visible data collection module(21) collects the data consisted of a text and an image from a visible data source(18). A data classification module(22) generates a classified catalog folder in order to locate the data collected by the data collection module(21) in a folder. A data annotation module(23) provides an explanation field(231) for recording an explanation of the data while providing an annotation on the data in order to add value to the data. A data access module(24) accesses to the data in a storing device(16), the catalog folder and the explanation.
