PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal foil clad laminated plate usable for producing a multilayered plate having good preventive characteristics against warping and twisting, and also provide a prepreg usable for producing the same multilayered plate. SOLUTION: The method of producing the metal foil clad laminated plate and the prepreg uses a glass cloth which has a plain wave with a thickness of 20-200μm, sum of the total woven number of warps per 25 mm and the total woven number of wefts per 25 mm is 120<= and difference between them is <=2.
