PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combine harvester having an easily openable side wall plate of a feed chain-installed part, capable of allowing the maximum open position to be controlled so as not to be opened entirely, and having a structure capable of allowing an efficient operation to be carried out at the safe opened position corresponding to requirement. SOLUTION: A main feeding and conveying apparatus 32 having a feed chain 14 for conveying grain culms after reaping the planted grain culms, at a prescribed speed to a threshing apparatus while regulating the threshing depth of the grain culms, is attached to a machine body so as to be opened from the machine body by centering a rotary shaft 40 installed in a machine body of a combine harvester. The main feeding and conveying apparatus 32 is tilted at a prescribed angleβ(about 35 deg.) (the first opening-regulated position) to the perpendicular direction in the side view of the combine harvester, and attached to the machine body so as to be opened by centering the rotary shaft 40 tilted at an angleα(about 10 deg.) (the second opening-regulated position) to the perpendicular direction in the front view of the combine harvester. Either of the first opening-regulating position or the secondary opening-regulating position further opened from the first opening-regulating position can be selected, and the efficient operation at the safe opened position according to the requirement can be carried out.
