PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the user interface in a GPS communication terminal. SOLUTION: This GPS assist map server returns rough map information according to the rough position of a communication terminal together with the track information of a revolving satellite trackable by the GPS communication terminal (3) when a GPS position measurement support request including the rough position information of the communication terminal is received from the GPS communication terminal (2), and returns detail map information according to the position information (8) when a detail map request including the position information calculated by executing PGS position measurement from the GPS communication terminal (7).
