PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for automatically selecting fuel system enabling continuous operation by automatically selecting a built-in tank and an external tank. SOLUTION: This device for automatically selecting fuel system includes solenoid valves 15, 16 selecting passage between the built-in tank 10 and the external tank 2 and an engine and a selecting means to drive the solenoids 15, 16. When fuel is continuously supplied from the built-in tank 10 and the external tank 2, the selecting means operates the solenoid valves 15, 16 to cut off passages 11, 12 in the built-in tank 10 side and open passages 7, 8 in the external tank 2 side for air bleeding of external piping at first, and to open the passages 11, 12 in the built-in tank 10 side and cut off flow the passages 7, 8 in the external tank 2 side for supplying fuel in the built-in tank 10 after air bleeding, and to cut off the passages 11, 12 in the built-in tank 10 side to open the passages 7, 8 in the external tank 2 side as fuel in the built-in tank 10 decreases to a designated quantity for selecting to supply of fuel in the external tank 2.
