PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take the optimum train operation recovery measures in accordance with train delay information in real time. SOLUTION: This train operation control system is constituted of a wayside coil for a transponder provided at a specified position along a track on which a train runs, a train information receiving means to receive train information to specify the train such as the train number, etc., from the wayside coil for the transponder provided on the train at the time when the train passes a position of the wayside coil for the transponder, a train delay time computing means to compute delay time of the train in accordance with receiving time of the train information and a train time-table based on schedule information of the train passing the wayside coil for the transponder previously decide and a train recovery control means to carry out specified train recovery such as train arrangement, etc., in accordance with the computed delay time of the train.
