END PROTECTOR FOR UPPER RAIL OF SEAT TRACK DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an end protector to be usable in common with a plurality of upper rails being the same in cross section and different in shape between cutouts at the ends. SOLUTION: The upper rail has a cutout in a portion of the mounted end of the protector having a uniform cross section and the end protector has an end engagement portion for engaging a portion where the cutout exists and a corner engagement portion for engaging a uniform cross section portion where no cutout exists. The length of the corner engagement portion is set to be applicable to the different length of the cutout of the upper rail.
