PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cast-embedding a hexagon cap nut and a cast- embedded member capable of preventing the generation of troubles accompanied by seizing from occurring and capable of greatly contributing to improved productivity and to reduced production costs. SOLUTION: In the method for cast-embedding the hexagon cap nut so as to mount flush with a casting article cast by the full mold process, the cast-embedding member 10 provided with the hexagon cap nut portion 11 embedded in a disappearing model 1 and a prolonged cylinder portion 12 embedded in a sand die 6 surrounding the disappearing model 1 and provided with an annular notch 13 having a V letter shape in the boundary portion of the outer peripheral surface between the hexagon cap nut and the prolonged cylinder portion 12 is readied, and the prolonged cylinder portion 12 of the cast-embedding member 10 is embedded into the sand die 6 together with a bolt 16 tucked and attached, after casting and die-releasing, and then, the prolonged cylinder portion 12 is sheared and removed, making the bottom of the notch 13 as the starting point, by hammering the cylinder portion of the bolt 16 and the hexagon cap nut portion 11 is kept intact so as to be flush with the surface of the casting article substituted by the disappearing model 1.
