Device for determining saw cuts on a human leg preparatory to the fitting of a knee prosthesis, comprising a longitudinal guide which extends along a longitudinal axis between a proximal end and a distal end and is provided with a first indicator which, during use, can be positioned above the centre of rotation of the head of the femur of an upper leg, and which is also provided with a second indicator which, during use, can be positioned above the centre of rotation of the ankle joint of the tibia of the lower leg. The longitudinal guide is provided with two transverse guides, which can be displaced along the longitudinal axis and extend transversely with respect to the longitudinal axis, for, along these guides, determining a saw cut at a distal end of the femur and a proximal end of the tibia. The invention also relates to a method for determining saw cuts on bone parts of limbs, and to a position transmitter, an indicator and a kit comprising position transmitter and indicator. |
