PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for feeding and transferring a strip like rubber member capable of continuously supplying the strip like rubber member toward a molding drum without stopping the molding work thereof. SOLUTION: In the strip like rubber member feeding and transferring apparatus, a transfer drum 5 for winding the strip like member W (a strip like rubber member having predetermined width is used in this enbodiment) extruded from an extruder 1a is arranged on the feed conveyor 4 arranged between the extruder 1a (the extruder is used in this embodiment but a rolling device may be used) and the molding drum 2. The transfer drum 5 is arranged between the transfer position P to the molding drum 2 and the winding position Q on the feed conveyor 4 in a reciprocally movable manner through a lift device and a horizontal moving device not shown in a drawing, and a cutting means 6 for cutting the strip like member W into the length corresponding to the peripheral length of the molding drum 2 is provided at a part of the peripheral surface of the transfer drum 5.
