PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum type sewerage enabling the remarkable reduction in initial cost or maintenance cost. SOLUTION: Sewage runs into a vacuum valve unit 32 through an inflow pipe 31. The sewage is sucked to a vacuum sewerage pipe 33 from the vacuum valve unit 32. Each vacuum sewerage pipe 33 is connected to a collection unit 10. When a prescribed quantity or more of sewage is collected in the collection unit 10, the sewage is discharged to a main sewage pipe 22 and sent to a disposal plant 23. A vacuum vent pipe 25 is arranged in parallel to the main sewage pipe 22, and the vacuum vent pipe 25 and respective collection units 10 are communicated to each other via vent connecting pipes 24.
