METHOD FOR DYEING COMPOSITE FIBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for dyeing a composite fiber comprising a polyester-based fiber and a polyurethane-based fiber, with which an excellent color fastness can be obtained in dyeing of the composite fiber comprising the polyester-based fiber and the polyurethane-based fiber with a disperse dye. SOLUTION: In this method for dyeing the composite fiber comprising the polyester-based fiber and the polyurethane-based fiber with a disperse dye, 1 pt.wt. of the composite fiber of polyester and polyurethane is mixed with 0.005-1 pt.wt. of natural tannin and 0.00025-2 pts.wt. of a water-soluble metal salt to improve color fastness.
