PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a single-cavity valve gate type mold apparatus in a well-balanced state, to certainly operate a valve pin for opening and closing a gate and to uniformly heat a material passage. SOLUTION: A passage 11a on a gate side having a valve pin 46 positioned therein coaxially and a nozzle touch 11c, to which the nozzle 10 of an injection molding machine is connected, are connected in the material passage 11 by the bypass passage 11b bypassing the valve pin 46. By this constitution, the passage 11a of the gate side and the nozzle touch 11c are coaxially positioned. An annular air cylinder device 51 is provided so as to surround a valve main body 21 having the material passage 11 formed therein in order to drive the valve pin 46. The piston 55 thereof and the valve pin 46 are connected by arm elements 72 radially positioned with respect to the valve pin 46. Band heaters 36, 37 and 38 are provided to the almost whole of the outer periphery of the valve main body 21.
