<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power consumption and to improve the display quality while avoiding degradation in the characteristics of a substrate. SOLUTION: Second pixel electrodes 12 are formed to stride over scanning lines g1 which are arranged in the row direction. Auxiliary capacitive wirings Csm are formed to go by way of pixels that are in a staggered positional relationship in the row direction of the regions interposed between adjacent scanning lines. Thus, a liquid crystal display device in which signal lines Sn, the wirings Csm and counter electrodes are single vertical reversely driven while acting similar to a dot reversal driving. Since the wirings Csm are formed in the regions sandwitched by the adjacent scanning lines g1, the wirings Csm are not formed to stride over the lines g1 and the wirings Csm and the lines g1 are formed in a same layer. Thus, both wirings are pulled out to a panel tip part in a single connected manner.</p> |
