PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an automatic transmission comprising a main pump driven by an engine as an oil pressure supply source in which the main pump is stopped under idle stop control, and in which oil pressure necessary for traveling is supplied without loading burden on an electric motor or a battery when supply of oil pressure is conducted by an assist pump for restarting to provide smooth traveling. SOLUTION: In a vehicle provided with the engine 10 having an idle stop control means, and the automatic transmission 20 to conduct speed change control using the main pump driven by the engine 10 as an oil pressure supply source, the assist pump 40 driven by the electric motor 41 is provided on the automatic transmission 20. A bypass oil way 43a is provided to communicate the assist pump 40 with immediately before part of a fastening pressure supply port for a fastening element 21 for going forward or a fastening element for going backward, and an assist pump control means to drive the assist pump 40 is provided. |
