PURPOSE: A car audio control apparatus for a vehicle is provided to measure the volume of distortion of each output line of the car audio apparatus, reduce the volume of gain of the output line having a great volume of distortion and compensate the gain of the rest output lines. CONSTITUTION: A function setting unit(10) sets a key input of a distortion prevention mode. Plural comparing units(26,28) compare audio signals about input lines of the plural amplifiers(18,20) with audio signal of output lines and the compares the volume of distortion. Gain control units(30,32) reduce the gain about the amplifying unit having a great volume of distortion and compensates and controls the gain about the amplifying units of the rest output lines according to the comparison result of the volume of distortion. A control unit(34) controls the setting of the gain of the gain control units(30,32) and reduces the distortion of the output lines according to the set of distortion prevention mode by the function setting unit(10).
