PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a problem found in a prior art egg tray in which several egg trays are stacked up to cause their entire units to be inclined in a leftward direction or a rightward direction and some claws of an egg washing and selecting machine cannot be entered into the trays. SOLUTION: A part of one edge 7 is expanded toward an inside part to form flat segments 12, 13. Cup-like protrusions 3, 3 of an upper stage egg tray are mounted on the flat segments 12, 13 to attain their stability. The entire several egg trays stacked up are not inclined in a leftward direction or a rightward direction, it can be peeled off one by one positively by claws of the egg washing and egg selecting machine, so that an operating efficiency is substantially increased and the number of egg trays that can be stacked up is remarkably increased. |
