PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casting mold capable of thoroughly exhausting air inside the cavity at the time of filling a half molten metal into the cavity. SOLUTION: The casting mold 10 is provided with an overflow portion 16 at the end portion 14a of the cavity 14 and a gas vent 18 is extended from the overflow portion 16, and by letting out a part of the half molten metal 30 filled into the cavity 14 to the overflow portion 16, the filling characteristics inside the cavity is retained. This casting mold 10 helps to continue the flow channel from the cavity 14 to the overflow portion 16 by making a gap G2 of the overflow portion 16 smaller that the gap G1 neighboring cavity 14, and the gap G1 of the overflow portion is set constant. |
